Clinical Manager (Remote)

Tava Health is a venture-backed telemedicine startup that partners with employers to provide convenient, high-quality mental health care to employees and their families. At less than three years old, Tava has already partnered with dozens of forward-thinking employers and recently announced a $10M Series A.

Our team of passionate mental health professionals is growing, and we are in need of a Clinical Manager to help us put clients first and ensure they receive the quality of care they deserve. This person will work closely with clinical leadership to oversee a team of licensed therapists who provide evidence-based care virtually via a proprietary digital platform.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain 5 hours of clinical availability each week
• Provide supervision to associate-level providers as needed
• Assist with clinical network recruitment including interviewing and onboarding of new providers
• Monitor and enforce provider compliance with policies ensuring quality assurance
• Ensure the provider network is providing care compliant with the Tava standard of evidence-based, short term, outcomes-driven, and culturally competent therapy
• Provide individual and group clinical consultation on a regular basis
• Develop and facilitate training for providers, clients, and customers in collaboration with clinical leadership
• Monitor caseload, availability, and performance of therapists and provide feedback/discipline when necessary regarding expected outcomes
• Work with our Support team to ensure our clients have an outstanding customer experience by responding to questions and appropriately resolving their concerns
• Assist with content development as needed
• Aid in program improvement projects
• Act as a member of the credentialing committee
• Provide feedback on product development and design as needed
  
  

Requirements:

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Marriage Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field
• At least 5 years of independently licensed clinical psychotherapy experience
• Current unrestricted licensure to practice and supervise associate-level therapists in one or more states
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in an outpatient healthcare organization
• Have appropriate experience, training, and expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based practices
• Some experience with managed care, including payers, and credentialing is preferred
• Competence in providing training or public speaking is preferred
• A clean historical record without any disciplinary action being taken against you by a licensing board in any jurisdiction
