Requirements:

• Nurse Practitioner licensed in Florida and preferably also in Connecticut

• Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (APRN-FNP or APRN-ANP preferred) with experience in men’s health, nutrition, and lifestyle, as well as management of chronic male issues such as prostate pathology and erectile dysfunction

• Interest in helping people via synchronous telemedicine platforms

• Excellent written and verbal communication with an emphasis on clarity and compassion

• Willingness to work 10+ hours per week on the platform

• Experience in leadership, care team design, and process development

Essential Responsibilities:

• Providing virtual consults with our users from our HIPAA compliant video interface

• Provide treatment options based on virtual consult assessment and laboratory studies

• Ordering of prescription medications through the Bastion EMR

• Provide virtual follow up consults

• Educate client and create individualized treatment plans

• Provide outstanding service to our clients. Ensuring they are receiving the very best in care and that all questions/concerns are communicated to the care team in a timely manner

• Demonstrates superior customer service and maintains relationships with clients

• Maintains high standards of professionalism in their verbal and written communication both with the client and members of the care team

• Follows established rules, policies and procedures according to company regulations

• Seeks feedback from clients to ensure client satisfaction and improve the client experience

• Remains HIPAA compliant and represents the company in a unified fashion

• Collaborates with other Physicians with whom there is oversight and reporting

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Hold a valid board-certified Nurse Practitioner license

• Poses an unrestricted DEA license

• A deep profound passion for healthcare, health promotion, and maintenance

• Available at a minimum of 10 hours per week for consultation, including both clinical and non-clinical duties. 

• Increase in hours in the future as our business grows

• Experience in practice of Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

• Strong communication skills with a focus on fostering the provider patient relationship

• Available to start in 2-4 weeks

• Solid computer skills

• Superior organization and interpersonal skills

• Functions well in a team environment

Practice:

• Scheduled appointments

• Providers will hold synchronous visits with users through our HIPAA compliant video conferencing tool and provide medical care.

• Web Based EMR - The Bastion EMR platform is available via the web so you can work on your desktop or laptop

• Each visit will be 10 minutes long
