Leadership Health, a division of Shah Telehealth, is seeking telehealth endocrinologists in any US State to support a novel telemedicine initiative to improve outcomes for patients with metabolic disease who are homebound.
Homebound persons include those that need the help of another person or medical equipment such as crutches, a walker, or a wheelchair to leave their home, or their medical provider believes that their health or illness could get worse if they leave their home, and they typically do not leave their home.
Many of these patients have difficulty in adhering to recommended schedules for follow-up. We are seeking to bridge this important gap in the spectrum of what is available for patients in these types of situation.
This is a 100% telehealth role for the endocrinologist. You are not the one providing the house call - a field-based nurse practitioner does that. This position requires a endocrinologist to be available via telehealth to provide the consult, with the assistance of a nurse practitioner in the patient's home to assist you.
Our field-based nurse practitioners are highly trained but nonetheless benefit tremendously from having a specialist available via telehealth to conduct the telehealth visit while they are in the patient's home.
You will be provided with:
- Comprehensive malpractice coverage under our group policy.
Requirements:
- You must have a license to practice medicine in at least one U.S. state or territory.
- You must have a suitable environment at home to support video-based telehealth encounters.
Compensation:
- Approx. $300 per hour.

This is a flexible 1099 contractor position.
