Job Description

What You’ll Do 

You will use your knowledge of various oncologic disease states and treatment landscapes to provide context and perspective that advances our clients strategic planning by leveraging your pharmaceutical, clinical, scientific communications and / or strategic healthcare consulting experience.

A Day in the Life 

  • You will partner with internal client teams to ensure client objectives are met by shaping client deliverables
  • You will be responsible for synthesizing information about a given disease state focusing on existing and emerging competitive treatment landscapes
  • You will propose innovative solutions to address client needs, translate insights into implications, and provide strategic input into brand strategy  
  • You will employ your strong communication skills to foster successful professional interactions with external thought leaders, clients and our internal client teams
  • Other duties may be assigned to help drive deliverables within this role

What You Have

  • PhD, PharmD, MD, MSN or ARNP required
  • A minimum of two years of work in the healthcare space
  • Good working knowledge of pharmaceutical and biotech industries
  • Considerable familiarity with oncology disease states and treatment landscapes
  • Good understanding of a variety of scientific communications deliverables
  • Solutions-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze information skillfully, develop alternative solutions, and work well in group problem-solving solutions 
  • Ability to travel within the US and internationally as necessary, based on project, client and organizational needs (30% travel expected post pandemic)

What You Might Have, but isn’t required

  • Clinical practice, scientific communications agency and / or strategic healthcare consulting experience
  • Competitive Intelligence or Market Research experience a plus
  • Prior moderation/facilitation experience
  • Highly proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Adobe Acrobat; Chrome/Firefox and Safari; DropBox/Egnyte; Slack; and Zoom
  • Authentic team player; able to elevate the team before self
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex or diverse information
  • Ability and willingness to meet tight deadlines and help others do the same
  • Ability to multitask and work within high-pressure situations
