ABOUT THE ROLE

Galileo is looking for culturally sensitive and thoughtful therapists to join our digital-first, primary care medical group. In this role, you will leverage data, technology, and operational rigor to deliver therapy amongst a diverse patient population.   

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Work with a diverse patient population. We pride ourselves on fostering a culture that is inclusive of all backgrounds
  • Solve patient problems in an efficient, nimble manner by drawing on resourcefulness, collaborating with team members to leverage their expertise, and a “can-do” approach
  • Provide integrated behavioral health care among a team of primary and specialty care providers with attention to clinical quality and patient-centricity

HOW WE WORK

Galileo’s digital practice is a 24/7 primary care practice providing affordable, accessible healthcare to patients. Full time Therapists will work 40 hours a week. All of our clinicians are W-2 employees. This allows you to not have the burden of managing self employment taxes. We would love to hear from you if you have the following or equivalent experience:

  • Licensed and credentialed to support patients with clinical concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma
  • Trained with evidence based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness based cognitive therapy (MBCT) 
  • 2+ years experience with providing teletherapy (text-based, video, phone) and integrating technology and data into practice/care provision
  • Are experienced in or have an appetite for learning digital-first healthcare (e.g. virtual medicine)
  • Master’s Level Therapists - Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Licensure: 
    • Priority: NY, VT
    • Secondary: FL, CT, NC, OH, GA, PA, CA, TX
  • It's a bonus if you are professionally fluent in English/Spanish including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the cultural nuances for native Spanish speakers in a medical setting
