NantHealth is seeking a Clinical Knowledge Base Manager - Autoimmune to join our team of nurses who develop and maintain the Eviti Evidence-based Library. We are seeking nurses to develop and manage our Autoimmune Disease Library used to support quality cancer care and its reimbursement. You will have the opportunity to build an exciting new product using your knowledge and experience in autoimmune disease care.

The Clinical Knowledge Base Manager is a detail-oriented, experienced nurse who loves learning and using his/her knowledge. The successful applicant will review FDA labels, clinical research, national clinical practice guidelines, and client medical policies to build and maintain the Eviti Autoimmune Disease Library. The Clinical Content Manager is responsible for the accuracy and comprehensiveness of the Library.

Responsibilities

  • Build and review autoimmune treatment regimens for the Library based on clinical studies, FDA labels, and standards of care

  • Review and interpret client Medical Policy and build client specific regimens reflecting policy

  • Improve Library content and the processes used to develop and maintain it

  • Collaborate extensively with teammates to ensure Library accuracy, currency, and consistency

  • Conduct medical literature searches and review and interpret the results of clinical studies

  • Communicate the rationale for content-related decisions to team members and clients

  • Participate in the training and continuing education of NantHealth staff

  • Serve as autoimmune clinical content expert

  • Work with our experienced oncology team of nurses to learn our system and processes, as well as provide support for the oncology team and the oncology Library as needed

Required Certifications or License:

  • Current Active Unrestricted Registered Nursing License 

Education & Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing strongly preferred

  • 5 years prior experience in Autoimmune diseases

  • Research & Writing experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • General and disease-specific Autoimmune expertise including disease classification, treatment, and standards of care

  • Experience coordinating infusion, injectable, or oral autoimmune medications, such as insurance prior authorizations and/or appeals

  • Strong knowledge of Autoimmune practice

  • Demonstrated excellence in attention to detail and documentation skills

  • Excellent computer and internet skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office software (e.g., Outlook, Word, and Excel)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including communicating via Zoom and MS Teams

  • Proven ability to work and manage workload independently

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with team members

  • Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and adhere to timelines

  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to evolving business needs

  • Experience with content/data management software preferred

  • Knowledge of insurance industry and payer medical policy preferred
