Job Description


The Head Of Clinical Operations (VP Level) will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee medcase’s pipeline of clinical and clinician-utilizing activities, ensuring development and implementation of efficient clinical operations and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of medcase in managing the delivery of customer success from a clinical point of view. This role will report to the Chief Information and Operations Officer and will be a member of the senior management team and give a clinician perspective to questions of strategy, direction and execution of the company’s clinical development plans. 


  • Provide clinical leadership and management of clinician recruitment and development
  • Define and execute strategy for acquiring a global team of HCPs qualified to meet client needs for contract requirements
  • Support Supply Team to Build scalable mechanisms to build and expand supply for marketplace 
  • Consult with HR in the recruitment and interviewing of medical staff regarding hiring and offboarding 
  • Work with Supply team to Develop end to end processes for clinician recruitment, contract negotiation, Onboarding, and training
  • Define and implement quality/performance program for managing clinician performance on customer engagements
  • Identify and mentor clinician leaders that will allow for organizational growth
  • Deliver Clinical Quality Management as part of Customer Success Strategy
  • Define and manage quality programs for projects requiring medical oversight
  • Define roles and responsibilities for Clinical Operations Leads on various customer projects
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for project improvements aligning with customer objectives, including, but not limited to, increased efficiency, automatization, cost-saving measures, and project expansion
  • Liaise with customer regarding clinical requirements to ensure customer success, and promote long-term relationship with medcase 
  • Define clinical KPIs per customer requirements 
  • Manage clinical operations leads, directing them to provide regular clinical reporting for ongoing projects, driving success for ongoing projects and creating opportunities for new projects
  • Advise project managers and operations teams to establish regular reporting mechanisms, in partnership with medcase COO
  • Consult with sales and operations regarding clinical requirements for new business and revenue opportunities
  • Advise operations regarding fair market value for clinician services with respect to customer billing and clinician compensation
  • Provide thought leadership for fostering positive enthusiastic participation by clinicians 
  • Advise marketing team regarding brand recognition, positioning, website, publicity materials, etc from a clinical perspective. 
  • Identify appropriate events and channels for medcase to engage the healthcare community
  • Provide clinical support and work with other members of the management team to develop and communicate the overall corporate strategy  
  • Represent the Company and its programs to external audiences, including the investment, medical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology industry partners
  • Provide thought leadership for creating and driving an organization built on people, process and platforms 


Education and Experience:

  • MD/DO/MBBS degree
  • Current US board certification by an ABMS, AOA, ABPS or NABPS board
  • 10+ years of clinical experience in a patient facing role 
  • Experience designing and implementing quality assurance programs in the health tech sphere
  • Experience leading international and cross-cultural teams
  • Experience in physician and other clinician education in either academia or the continuing medical education arena, ideally in software or tech education
  • Experience in managing physician and other clinician performance, developing and monitoring quality assurance programs and representing business and medical interests
  • Skills Required:
  • Excellent communication skills and understanding of cross-cultural and international communication
  • Excellent speaking and writing ability including public speaking 
  • Must read, write, and speak fluent English, and be capable of articulating Medcase’s clinical strategies and progress to a wide audience of external and internal stakeholders, including the CEO, clients, clinical staff, and the investor community.
  • Proficient in data management and analysis
  • Highly competent in either Microsoft Excel or Google sheets and with at least basic knowledge of a programming language
  • Proficient in data visualization to create client-facing quality reporting
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace
